My case was transferred to Newark in Jan02. I saw some discussions about getting interview. One question: how does the local office notice you about the appointment, mail or telephone? I am concerned because my phone number has changed and INS has not got my new phone number. Your information would be appreciated

they should send you and the lawyer a notice for the interview...

I really doubt someone\'s going to call you up from INS....

My case was transfered to Newark, too, today

According to the message, I should call Newark office by myself to ask the questions. I think it is none of the business of INS vermont center, everything should be contacted with local service center. But I really wonder why the people got transfered on Jan still don\'t get any notice?
