Case status

Earlier I had initiated an enquiry over the telephone for my pending EB3 485 as it's ND is july 2003 and pD is some where in 1999. in response to that During first week of March 05 I got a reply mentioning pending service consideration.

While I was checking my status over the phone, inorder to contact the Cust rep., I am getting the message temporary problem with the system (when I enter my case number over the telephone) I tried 4 to 5 time during last week. (The case number I entered is the right one.)

What does the message temporary problem with the system mean.

I think when you do an inquiry about your case and when they reply and send a mail to you about the inquiry, they also changed the status to something like "we send you a mail about blah blah"

I have seen several cases where after that, they are not able to get status check anymore on the phone.
 
Similar case with me. When I enter my Case Number, it says " Due to temporary problem, we are not able to tell you the status...blah...blah...."

The only difference between mine and ur case is I did not initiate any queries or anything of that sought. I am getting this message from the begining I filed my 485. I was never able to check my status through VSC automated system.

Hi GC12301975, What did you call the customer service for? Looks like your ND has not passed the published processing dates of VSC for I-485. They may not respond in that case. This is just my guess. Sometimes I used to get the same.

Did you make the enquiry call yourself or your lawyer launched any liason enquiry? Did you get a written notice?
For my EAD sometime back, I called couple of times, they said they will look into it and wait for 30 days but nothing happened. Finally I got it in Jan 2005.

I did my enquiry my self, then the cust rep told me that they will put forward the note and that I will hear some thing in 30 day or can contact them if not heard in 30 days. Then after three weeks of my call to cust rep I got a letter saying my case is pending service consideration and if not heard in 30 days blah....blah... contact USCIS telphone no....

45 days passed since i got the letter and around 65 days passed since i contacted uscis over the phone. I am trying to check with them twice a week by calling the number but I hear the message technical problem ..... as mentined in the above post.

it is a tooooooo loooooooooong wait

Same here

I know this is really frustrating. Don't know what these jokers are upto. After I filed for inquiry and got a response from them, my status is the same thing. Can't blah blah..so I use my wife's EAC no to check the status.

It's time for my 3rd AP/EAD. My dates are way past by 6 months now. So would applying for 3rd AP/EAD trigger adjudication.
 
Same with me

My lawyer did an enquiry on Mar 10 2005, got a email on April 8th saying that we responded to your request on March 29. Today is May 5th but still me nor my lawyer received response letter. So i was trying to call them everyday but it gives "Temporary problem Message"

This is very very frustrating. I dont know why they are torturing like this. They cant even send a letter or make their automated message system work.

My case is now ten months past processing date.. Losing all hopes and am seriously thinking whether all this is really worthy.
 
I can understand your frustation...

I am already on my 3rd EAD and i know how frustating it is to wait endlessly. All we can hope for is that eventually it should get approved....
