Case status site problem

Registered Users (C)
While trying to check the status of my case, I got the following error. Sometimes I got 500 Servlet Exception errors.

Validation Error(s)
You must correct the following error(s) before proceeding:

To view the status of a case, please enter the corresponding application receipt number. The 13-character application receipt number can be found on application notices you have received from the USCIS. It begins with three letters such as (EAC, WAC, LIN, or SRC). Dashes ("-") should be omitted when entering a receipt number. However, all other characters, including asterisks ("*"), can be included if listed on your notice as part of the receipt number. See the FAQs for additional information on this system.

Has anyone seen this before. I was able to check my status this morning.

me too

After trying for few more times, I've been denied access for an unspecified time period for trying to access too many times in a short period.

limit is 250 now....earlier it was 1000.

The limit is 250 now. After reaching 250 attempts, it will say for about 5 times "you should correct....", then it says "Access denied....".

Don't have to worry about it. Access should be back after 24 hours or so.

I am getting this error from the day USCIS recieved my application. I have called them three times and they still didn't fix it online. The IIO in Vermont told me in Jan 2003 that everything is fine regarding my case, but at the same time the Online message was saying that their is some problem blah blah blah.......

I recently moved to a new appartment and I have informed USCIS about the change of address and the Customer Service Agent too told me that he is not able to pull my record with my EAC number and is also seeing the same error what I was seeing Online. And he told me that he is sending something to Vermont service centre to look into my case. Even when I called last year, the Customer service centre agent told me that same thing and till now the problem still persists. So I would suggest you to try and talk to IIO at the service centre or wait till Customer Service Centre Agents gets real access to Case files and then only we will get the right answer.

My wife got the First FP notice and I haven't got any FP notice till now and still waiting.........

Guys...

If you have already registered at USCIS website and you configure e-mail notification "on" then keep checking your e-mail instead of online case status at USCIS website.

Whenever there is change in case, USCIS is sending an email. I received e-mail about EADs and extension etc.... Infact other users have also been receiving e-mails from them.

Once a while like in a week or twice in a month we can check online case status at USCIS website.

Same here...

I am getting the same Validation error(s) message.
I do no think it is due to number of times you check your status cuz. I check just once or twice a day (I did not scan using any scripts)... I am still getting this error.
I am getting this error only for myself and my wife I485 status check... If I check the status of I140 I get the normal message.

Any thoughts what could it be????
