Case Status Screen giving Validation Error(s) message.

Hello members.,

When on clicked on Receipt Number link in My Portfolio Screen of LUD was taking me Case Status Search page with following message:
"
Validation Error(s)
You must correct the following error(s) before proceeding:

* Status for this Receipt Number cannot be found at this time in this automated system. Please check your case receipt number to see if it is correct. If you have questions or concerns about your case status, please contact the service center where you submitted your application. "
Here I was not able to see the my case status messages.

could any body give the solution and why it is coming like that?

1 st fp date : 11/9/04

LUD updated with fp receiving message on 11/16/04
LUD changed on 11/24/04 without message change.

did you do any case scans recently ? I did a few scans for my ND and I am having same validation error as yourself from the PC where I did the scans...

however, on the other PC it came up well... so, I am thinking it maybe a PC related issue... check it from another PC and see if the error persists...

P.S.

at the same time those checks where at different times, so maybe it's a planned update going on and The System is blocked or something...

I tried different cases even those approved and they all came up with validation errors, so it's very possible system glitch...

I got same problem other box also.
Yesterday i did some scans on my box.

I did not know exactly that is the case?

If u can get any information please share it that solution.

Message you get after lot of scan is ..

It was reported to us that your IP address or internet gateway has been locked out for a select period of time. This is due to an unusually high rate of use. In order to avoid this issue please take this opportunity to create a Customer account (single applicant) or a Representative account (representing many individuals, such as lawyers, charitable groups, or corporations). Each account allows you to generate a Portfolio of receipt numbers.

The message you are getting is 'coz of some system problem USCIS might have..( downtime )..well does not hurt if they are "working" on your case that time :D :D

as I said I did the scans from work and now at work when I check the status it gives me validation errors as in your case, however when I did the check from home it came up well... so maybe they block the IP somehow... try another PC with another IP address... could be that those PCs you tried share same external IP ?

Validation error(s) problem solved. yesterday I got error at work.
evening went to home and logged into site I did not get error.
Now this morning came to work, and logged into site , I have n't.

timing ?... I think they have a timeout set or something... so if you hit the case status url hard you will be blocked again for 48 hours or something...

try it :) at least I am able to do a little scan again and will do it soon...
