Case status online

How soon does it take for case status to be reflected online after text/email is received from USCIS. I received the text/email yesterday and saw that check was cashed yesterday but when i check the status of the application online, it is not displaying. Any ideas?

Cashing of checks does NOT update you online case status..............What are the contents of your text/email message?
