Case Status online !?

I am not able to add my ( I-589) case receipt number to the case status online at USCIS website ..

Is that normal ? or I need to contact and check with them about it?

Did anyone add his/her I-589 online?

You have to go to the asylum office and have to fill a form and can get the status of your case.

Do I need to travel there to fill this form or it can be sent via mail ???

You can make a phone call to the asylum office where you interviewed. But just a few times.
