Case status and message, some friends could explain this for me?

hi, friends, I got the following message from online checking.

"Your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status was received on February 25, 2004. We mailed you a receipt with information about processing. It is taking between 570 and 600 days for us to process this kind of case. We will mail you a decision as soon as processing is complete."

I was told that case would be processed between 570 and 600 days?. are they really following the days they provide or much longer than that? I saw you guys waited for long long long time. I am so sorry about that. did you have these experience before? I "ll appreciate!!

My dear,

Our 600 days have long been dead and gone...but now since the new amendment, if ever it's implicated might make a difference...what do you think all these people are crying about??? DaaaaH!!!

This is simply a generic message sent by a computer. It has no relevance. I received a letter with similar text and time line, almost five years ago. I waited more 1,600 days without getting the approval. Some of the folks in this forum waited more than 2,500 days (some waited longer) before their approval!!!
 
570 dys to 600 days

my online case status says my case will take 600 days for the last 5 years,

dont pay attention too much to the online case status
 
Go ahead and sue INS that you should be approved per the message. Who knows may be you would get decision in our favor and may be all of us over 600 days get GC :-) My blessings are with you :D
