Very Important!!!!!!

they are going to send a letter for interview, happened to me, they are going to start asking about your story, checking all my file as the first I.O did it 8 years ago, if they don't like u, they'll ask for more evidence o documents....
there you go, i'm gonna save you time and stress: (if you want to get approved right away) if you don't, wait as me......
the interview letter says you need to bring passport, original I-94 and birthdate certiface, that's it, buttttt, they are going to ask for "police clearence letter" from the County you have been living in the last 5 years.
get it and take with you along ALL YOUR DOCUMENTS, EVERYTHING!!!!.
If you do that, they can't reject your adjust, but, if they don't like you, you're fried.
I already sent this policial record, and nothing....

this is my email if you wanna email me.. ivpadilla2000@yahoo.com
we'll be in contact

someday i'll be legal and i''ll have a good job.

I worked at Federal Plaza as an interpreter for several years. I did asyl;um interviews on the 10th floor and immigration court cases on the 12, 13, and 14th floor. Officers, judges, and INS attorneys are pretty cool there. For the most part, they keep the "NY is the immigrants gates" approach, meaning that they are somewhat immigrant friendly. So don't worry!

Thanks Bobby, Cadel and 14ksusha.

Yesterday i recived Mail from NSC-----

hi, Mentos,
My case has been transferred to NYC also, and I received an interview letter with form I-639 and form I-864. I already sumitted i-639 monthes ago. did they ask you for the I-639 during the interview? Another question is did they asked you for I-864 during your interview? I think I-864 is only used for the family based adjustment case.
regards
hopeqq

Mentos: By all accounts this is positive; good development. you have been patient for a long time and your time has arrived. There are few individual cases that are sent to local office for an interview, and this just to make sure that you are the person that they have on file. Make sure that you are ready. Get all the documents you need. Birth certificates, passports, divorce decrees, I-94, police clearance, letter of asylum approval...everything you can thing of might asked at the interview. If you miss some documents at interview it may delay your case; you wanna have all document available at the time of interview. If this were a transfered to asylum office it would have been a huge problem, but local USCIS is a peice of cake...Good luck
