Hello everyone. I hate to break the news but some of you think that "case resumed" means your case is ready for approval or ending processing. Actually the word "resume", also means to start again! So after your firts set of finger prints (they expire after 15 months and most people still have their case pending at that time; and they need to finger print again) what resume means in this case, is that with having check your identity, now they can START to process your case.
Most people need to renew EADs and travel documents and do second finger prints before getting approved. It takes at least 12 to 24 months to get a I-485 approved. Believe me I'm in the same boat as all of you are. All we can do is pray and keep the faith and hope for the best, because it is a very lenghty process. Of course there are a few lucky ones that get approved very soon, Bless them all! But for the most of us...waiting is the norm. :(
