Case pending with Dol Since July 2002

Hello Guys,
My case went to Dol in July 2002 and in Nov. my lawyer received NOF which he replied and they received the same on nov 15th. Have not heard anything since then. Could anyone help me out and tell me what's going on and what is the current status. My DOT code is 030.062-010. The LC was applied for Software engineer. On checking the status. They keep saying that the status was posted on nov 15th. I don't understand what status was posted when they receive it on Nov. 15th. Please clarify. Has anyone with the same dot code received anything. My company had even put an ad in the newspaper after they received NOF from the DOL.
 
what state are you in? As far as I know, 030.062-010 software engineer is the hardest for the RIR process. my company already got at least one rejection. and now they have to go under the regular process.
you probably don't really want to hear back from them now. maybe no news is good news.

Two cases from our company got approved from Philly DOL with the same DOT code as yours (i.e. 030.062-010). We submitted those two applications back in June 2002 (Harrisburg SWA) and both applications were approved in late September 2002.

In my case (RD July 2002), we received NOF for missing tier sheet & job notice. Once requested papers were sent back to Philly DOL, LC got approved in Jan 2003.

Ask you employer/attorney to call DOL office and find out the reason for delay. Usually DOL takes less time to approve the case once NOF is satisfied.

BTW, what was the reason behind first and second NOF?

If I were you, I won’t just sit and relax thinking no news is good news.
 
Well the case is from the State of Texas and on the Dol Site they are saying that they are processing the month of Aug. does that mean that July cases have been approved or disapproved or the cases are still pending as I called today and they say that the NOF rebuttal was received nov 7 and the status was posted. What do they mean by status was posted and if they approve the case of disapprove the casw what msg. would i get on the automated voice response system

I am also in the same boat. I got Nof on 17th march & I am going to reply to DOL next week after giving the advertisement. Also want to check with you what are the things you did before replying back to dol for nof. My dot code is also same. Let see what happens. please respond. Also there were no layoff in my company & still hiring is going on.
