Case pending for derivatives

FP for child

I am wac02176xxxxx filer and case was approved for me and spouse. The case for mydaughter, 14 years old has not been approved. Does any one know if this is because my daughter needs finger print? (she was 11 when we filed I-485, therefore no FP was required at that time).

Could be anything. They are making a bad habit of seperating family packs, even though it states not to do that in thier own SOP.
 
It most likely is just that, your daughter has turned 14. The same thing happened to us and we then received an RFE to pay $60 for a finger print fee. We then received the FP appointment notice, she went early on Sept 2. She just received approval on Oct. 15 - just one week after we applied for an AP for her as we are travelling in Nov.

Her approval came almost 3 months after ours.
