Case online status

Hi,

We've submited my 485/765/130 package in mid october. Had the fingerprinting/biometrics appointment in mid november, but since then we haven't heard a thing. I try to check online but my case cannot be found, even though we received both an email and a text that the case was initially accepted.

Is this somewhat normal, or something to be concerned about. When should we expect the EAD?

Hi,

It's been almost 2 months since my 485/130/765 package touched ground.

The interview has already been scheduled (like a month and a half after submitting).

The EAD on the other hand, did not show anything on the online status thing, until today. and now it's in initial review.

We couldn't even open a bank account without me having two forms of id, but eventually my
"dhs auth. only" ssn card worked.

I was just wondering, should we expect the EAD to come before the interview? I would like to get a new id with the proper address where i live with my wife.

The EAD is usually approved within 90 days of the filling unless there is a RFE that puts the 90 days on hold.

Your EAD will be processed by the National Benefits Center and according to the latest online processing tables for Processing Dates as of October 30, 2012, the National Benefit Center is processing I-765 filed as a result of a pending I-485 within 3 months of the filling date.
