case online status updated question

the date of my case online status was recently updated but it still says the same thing about my i485 application. what does that mean?? coz im still waiting on the status on my i485 interview, i had my interview around 3months ago..
 
Let me guess, updated Nov 11th?

The last update is supposed to mean somene looked at your case. It could be good news, and equally it could mean nothing. Remain postive!

did all of the case updated on that date??

i hope its good news coz i havnt heard from them for the past 3months.
officer told us that we'l just hear from them at the mail for 2-3weeks...
 
I did and across a couple of forums can think of at least 3-4 others that got updated on the 11th. I'm in the same boat as you, except its only been 5 weeks since I was told "you'll get your green card in 2 weeks".
 
I got an update on the 8th... I haven't had my interview yet...what's funnier....I had an update on my I-765 on October 11th...which isn't uncommon except I got my EAD way back around July 7th.

Strange times :D

Sounds cliched but it's due to "internal processing"....while the updates are meaningful...sometimes they're as worthless as confederate currency.

If u've got the ways and means...u'd wanna schedule INFOPASS to find out what's going on.

This whole immigration business is damn stressful :(

Dr Iha...did u by any chance ask that ur passport be stamped and did they take away ur EAD and stuff?
 
They took my "stuff" but refused to stamp my passport: "We don't do that any more because green cards come so quickly these days". Ironic huh?

What "stuff" did they take away from you? At my interview nobody took anything from me.
 
The I-94 out of my passport specifically, plus they crossed out my H1-B and wrote CWOP on it (which I think stands for "Canceled without prejudice", which I guess is better than being canceled with with "Extreme Prejudice").
