I remembered a while back someone posted a message saying that from case number EAC-xx-xxx-5*xxx, you can get an idea of your priority.

To be more specific, for case numbers like EAC-xx-xxx-5*xxx , where "*" could be 0,1,2,3,4,5,6 "0" would be the highest priority and "6" would be lowest priority.

For example, if your case number is EAC-xx-xxx-50xxx, then you get the highest priority, etc.

By observing the recent approval in 066 and 065 series, I can not find anything that support this claim. Do you guys have any ideas/comments?

I've never heard this theory, so I've never checked it against any recent approvals!

interesting......

This might be true in some sense...

Just like each case has its own receipt date, cases received on the same day will be assigned to different numbers, probably in order, such as 50xxx first, then 51xxx, 52xxx and so on... When they are assigned to officers, that order could still be followed somehow. But there's certainly no such a rule or theory known to us to say 50xxx has higher priority than 51xxx does etc. e.g. if the 1st officer is assigned to do all 50xxx cases and some 51xxx ones, and the 2nd oficer gets remaining 51xxx and all 52xxx, then we'll see movement from not only 50xxx's but 51xxx's etc...
