Case not found online

I filed my N-400 in Feb, my finger printing was done in March. So far I am not able to check status on my case online. My tracking number starts with SSC*0011..... I am entering the entire number with *.

Not sure if I am doing something wrong or SSC* number are not available in the online system. Is there any other way to check the case status.

As long as you've received a receipt and other notices (which you have, I'm guessing), don't worry about the online status.

It's incredibly unreliable and doesn't really give you any updates. For a lot of applicants, it shows up as "Received and pending" and doesn't change during the entire process (mine still says "received and pending"), for others it shows up and disappears before they recieve the interview notice and for others, it doesn't show up at all.

If I were you, I wouldn't worry about it. Check the timeline thread for your district office to figure out how long others have had to wait and start panicking if you don't get an interview notice within the average time frame + 2 mos
