"Case not found" for N600 application

Hi all,

I applied for my daughters N600 almost 2 months ago. I received NOA with case number but when I go to check status,it says "case not found". I called the 1-800 no. and the agent transferred me to another agent to leave message in mailbox but the mailbox was full. If I try to find the case status on the phone by entering the case number on the phone, the mix of letters and numbers doesn't let me enter the correct case number. I'm kind of worried now and don't know how to track the progress. Any suggestions?

I am about to file for my daughter. So I am thiking it is worth to file or just get passport. Anyone has success getting through N600 ?

The N-600 is never availible online for tracking. The phone number will not help much either since only the local USCIS office can help. Just went through process took about 4 months total probably would have been 2 months if did not forget to put document in envelope. Just sit back and wait they will most likely respond within 2-3months after NOA letter.
