Case is not resuming after FP1

Friends, my wife did FP1 on 11/04. Till now I don’t see case resumed message.

Old message says - On October 21, 2004, we mailed a notice requesting that you appear for fingerprint recording. The notice also gave the times and location where this processing could be done. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283.

Is there a way to know if FP1 has been received by USCIS ? Should I worry a lot :confused: or it is possible to get approval w/o any FP resumed message ? Anyone having same or similar experience ? See details in signature.

It took fifteen business days to see an update on my wife's case.I called the customer rep and she said it takes around four weeks to update the status on FPs. You may wanna give a try.

I gave Fp on 10/16 it is updtated today11/18/2004 saying Fp results recived on 10/20/2004 and processing resumed.

Same thing here. FP completed on 10/14. Message was updated on 11/8 stating that the results were rcvd on 10/20 and processing resumed :)

Thanks all. I can wait for few more days now. In 99% cases this message comes in < 10 business days, and thats why I was worried. I can relax now :)
 
My wife and I did FP on 9/25 and we haven't seen any change in LUD or msg till date, it still says app received and will take 365-540 days. Do you guys think this is some thing I need to worry abt, thanks for your input.
 
Don't worry

I think the messages are not all that reliable.

I did my FP in Dec 2002 and the status did not change from FP sent until June of 2004. 15 months had already passed and it had expired.

When the message did change it was backdated, it changed to we received your FP in Jan '03 but the first time I saw that message was in June of 2004.

My GC was approved in Sept '04. I was not approved any later or earlier than average for my RD.

Your day will come too.

They say, they received the FP results and case has resumed, but don't see it being resumed yet.... :confused:

Nope, since mine is a Sept'03 and officially they are on June'03, I haven't called them or done any status enquiry yet. Did anybody do and get results?

It's is so encouragable to hear everyone said the change of LUD and online message of FP result is not very realiable.

I have done my 1FP in Alexandria, VA ASC on 16Oct'04. But still, neither have my online nor LUD been changed to FP is resumed or something else. I have called FBI and confimred the FP result has been sent out at the same day. I wonder if my FP result was lost or am i less possible to get approval than the ones whose FP have been resumed or LUD has been changed?

same here .....Gave FP on 10/06.....LUD changed 10/28 10/29....Not message change ....whats up with that !!!!!!!
 
LUD changed today

I did my FP1 on 10/5/04. My LUD date changed today, but no FP message.

My ND is 8/20/03

Call FBI FP dept. They will tell you right away if your FP was processed.
I don't remember the number.

Mine never got updated for FP but wife FP message was updated after a 8 days. however both of LUD changed again without change of message on 10/27&28.

I called FBI at 304-625-5590 with name and A# and girl immediately replied that it was sent back in 7 minutes or so. FBI name check response came for MR Hardy that it was done 1 & 1/2 year back ( in 4 days from ND ).

So try calling these number and sent email to FBINNCP address.

My wife's FP1 was done on 14th OCT 2004 and her message changed today, thats after four weeks and 4 days. so if you haven't heard till now take a relief from our exp. there is hope. Wish you all the best
