This is a derivative case for my spouse. The primary is already approved.
First the case status changed to this -
On September xx, we transferred your case to the local office in San Jose for them to schedule and conduct your interview. Interview can take several weeks.. blah blah blah... Our office will notify you of the date blah blah blah...
We were waiting for the interview letter which never came but now the case status is showing this -
On November xx, 2004, we transferred your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status to an office in SAN JOSE, CA for processing. That office has jurisdiction over the case. They will send you a written decision as soon as processing is complete. You should receive a notice informing you that your case has been transferred to a local office. Please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283 to receive information about local office processing times.
Can anyone tell me what is going on here... Are we still on for an interview ?? Does local office like San Jose do only processing as well ?? Isn't that usually done by the main CSC service center ??
Is there any way I can find out more detail of my case....Any inputs are appreciated...
