Just received the Case File Review Notice/Interview Document Check List. I understand this happened to some cases.

My question is, I'm asked to bring
"If you have a dependent Child(ren) and have been ordered to provide financial support, bring copies of the court or government order to provide financial support and evidence that you have complied with the court or government order (cancelled check, money order receipts, a court or agency printout of child support payment or evidence of wage garnishments)"

My situation is I have a 1 year old boy who lives with my parents in China. I never got ordered by court or government to provide financial support to the child. Therefore, I don't have above mentioned proof of my financial support. (And I don't understand how cancelled check can establish such evidence..Anyway)

Please advise me what I can do. Should I send my parents a check now to prove my financial support to the child?

Well, it says "If you [...] have been ordered..." You have not, so it should be OK. I got a Case File Review Notice as well.

A cancelled check is used to as proof that you have set up an automatic payment system to pay for child support.
If you were never ordered by a court to pay for child support the notice doesn't apply.

 Any one know where I can find a template of

"notarized affidavit from other spouse about telling that you have been paying timely child support."
