Case assigned to officer

Me and My Wife had gone to India in March this year and we renewed our Visas !!

Do you think, its gonna delay our case ??
Since, I heard that if you have got visas, in last one year, then FBI does background checks from the consulate !!
Does it apply to only New Visas, or any kind of Visa ??
We both got new Visa Stamp(H1-H1 transfer for me and H4-H1 for my wife)

any ideas, please share
