Hi All,

RD 7/24/01(We were living in IL)
ND 8/31/01
Oct 2001 called IIO to update the change of address.
Jan-15-2002---- Finger printing Notice ---- Mailed(We are in MI)

Feb-13-2002---- Finger Printing was done at Detroit local office
(Notice they asked us to go for FP in Peoria, IL Upto that they didn't update the address even though we called them)

Feb 15 2002---- Finger printing received Message on May 12 2002

No RFE.

Sep-10 2002---- Case Approved

Sep-16 2002---- Received the Approval Notice.(Mailed on Sep 12 the 2002 & now they updated the address.)

Spouse case was approved on the same day!.

Stamping experience at Local Detroit Office

Stamping done on 9/19/2002 (Detroit INS)

We reached there at 6.45AM. We were asked to place our approval notice in the box. As fouth member they called us at 8.25AM. We submitted our I-94, EAD, AP and they asked us to show our id, we gave the Driving license. They asked us to sign a form and took our finger printing. They stamped our passport. They said we will receive our Green Card with in 6 months. The IIO lady was nice. What a Great Relief!!

We didn't give our original approval notice. We gave only the courtesy copy.
