Seeked senator's help for both FP and Approval. The case worker for the senator has been extremely helpful. She called yesterday and told us that case was approved and even updated our address (we moved last week) to the NSC.

This is good news.

I did contact the senator's office here, but the case worker has not got back to me yet. (My details: RD 02/01, ND 03/01, no approval yet).
Keeping my fingers crossed...

Are you having the same issue, case not yet assigned to an Officer, to be waiting for the I-140 connection..

Please share you experience..

Also INIMACAM, could you please comment on these as well.. Because , it seems like you had this same issue..

I talked to IIO's three time in the past two months. Everytime I got the same reply, case pending review, not assigned to officer yet. COuld not get any more details from them.

I don't know what the delay was. All the IIO that i talked to said the case is pending, nothing else. I find out later (from Senator's assistant) that they had some problem connecting our Fingerprint with the case....

NSC received my employment letter and updated AVM very quickly. Then we had our finger print. AVM never reflected the FP stuff for both of us.

I believe our case is just sitting idle somewhere and senator got them to work on it right away. If you case is pending for too long, don't hesitate to contact senator. Find out which one is more responsive...i'm very fortunate that Sen. Gordon Smith's assistant was very helpful.
