I am also China EB3, PD 12/2001. But my file is not even touched in Semptember. I asked local office earlier Semptember, they said my NC is cleared and case under reviewing. But the LUD date of my case is still 08/16, the massive update date. How did your case LUD updated before approval?


Also, how did you do your finger print again by infopass? How long is pf valid?I got my initial pf in Jan 2005 and a diffrent categroy pf on Jan, 2006.

Any reply will be highly appreciated.

The fp is only valid for 15 months. CIS would not issue you 2nd fp notice until they found it is expired, that is when your case become current. And my lawyer told me I don't have to wait their notice to take 2nd fp . This is what i did, we schduled a Infopass, and brought our first fp notice to the office and told the officer our fps are expired. The lady checked out our cases and issued us reference letters. We brouht the letters to ASC to took fp on the same day.

I just got second FP notice. Does this mean that my case is current and could be approved soon or atleast being processed. Is it safe to assume that my NC has been cleared?

I am now waiting for the actual proof to come through. Still can't believe if it is really true ... :D :D :D

My case details as follows ...

I 140, I 485 Concurrent filing, EB-2 CSC

Applied date 30th Sep 2005 and Notice Date 12th Oct 2005

All cases transferred to Texas Center on March 29th

I 140 approved 26 May 2006

Medicals RFE reply received by INS on 1st Aug 2006

I 485 approval 25th Sept 2006 email received on 26th Sept 2006.

Any Idea of when the actual cards and approval notice will come in mail? (Do they send by USPS?) :) :) :)
 
Congratulations telephoneindia. Do you know if you got stuck with name check? Did you notice any LUDs prior to approval?

Hi,
I am not sure how the Name check status goes. I got like 2 or 3 LUDs around the timelines that others got. I did a Status 3 fingerprint perhaps in April or March.
 
Approval during visa unavailability

Hi,
Congratulations on your approval.
EB-2-India: I thought visas are unavailable for this category for the month of September. October is when the visa bulletin calls for the availability.
I must be missing something here. Would you know?
 
Priority Date

My priority date was March 2002 and it was Current when I applied and till nearly August 2006. My Processing was already going on and hence I think that the brief period when EB-2 was unavailable did not really affect me. But then, these are all assumptions only and I don't know how the real thing works out.

my priority date is Jul'2001 in EB2 . I do not see any update on my case either. any suggestion on what should I do?
 
In the beginning of this month an officer in infopass told me my NC was cleared, and case under review, decision should be made in 30 days. But almost month end now, although I got 2 fp notice and got it done on last week, there is no update or LUD change on my case yet. It still shows mass LUD of 8/16 and old message.
 
I'd call the 1800 number and check the automated system case status. In my case, the automated case status message was different than the online case status message when my I485 was pending for review.
My online at that time had no change in the message but automated system message had updated with "pending for review" message. Hope this helps.
