received interview notice on aug 28,03
interviewed on 9/11 @7:45 am
went there at 7:00 am, officer called us @7:30
asked gereral question like company name, nature of job,
company's future, any crime record
No tricky questions.

Hi, my case was there since May, haven't heard anything yet from them, where did you go for interview? downtown office or Chula Vista office? Is you I-485 employment based or family based? My major was in genetics (plant area) that's the base for my I-485 application (NIW), now I am working in a pharmaceutical company for drug discovery, do you think that would be a problem during the interview? I mean I didn't change my major, but the subject of study changed from plant to human.

I cant' believe that there are still offices that stamp passports right away after interview! I'm still waiting 10 months after my interview ( that went well) for approval letter!
