Careless mistake on N400

I took only one trip outside US in last 5 years - a 3 day trip to Mexico. It was in December. And I should have put down the dates as 12/3/2010 - 12/5/2010. Instead, I made a stupid mistake and put the day first and month second as 3/12/2010 - 5/12/2010.

My interview is tomorrow. Any suggestion on how I should handle this? Thanks.

That's not a problem, just correct it at the interview. You're allowed to fix almost any erroneous information at the interview.

Thanks. In terms of handling it, should I immediately address it upon entering the interviewer's office, or should I wait until they get to that section of the application? Thanks.

I have just noticed that my son in his N400 switched the lines about his school and college. In the line with info about high school he wrote "undergraduate University student", and in the line about University - "high school student". He also forgot to put info on his part-time job last summer. I hope he will be able to update this page (no. 3) at the interview. We corrected it in PDF of N400, printed out this page, and he is going to hand it to an IO during his interview next week. Do you think this would be OK?

The IO will ask you about trips you made outside the US, that is when I would tell him/her. Or just simply before IO asks you to sign the N-400, tell him/her to make the corrections.

Yes, handing over a corrected page is a common and acceptable way of fixing errors on the N-400.
