Hi,

We finally received our cards yesterday.

BUT I do have a question. Should we get our passports stamped. Because one of my friend mentioned that passport stamping is mandatory and I was under impression that passport stamping is not required if we get the cards.

Please clarify

Hello awaitinggc04

Passport Stamping process is being phased off by the USCIS. Previously they used to have passport stamping where they used to stamp your passport and take your Biometrics but now with the introduction of "Code-3" Biometrics before the GC" approval you do not need a stamp in the Passport. Enjoy your Freedom and let go of the "GC" blues.....

NO need for stamping

Once you received cards , there is no need for stamping at all.

Previously it used to take 3-6month to get cards , during that USCIS guys stamp our passports so that we can visit our country. stamping is also valid for 1 year only.

Once you got cards , you are totally free.

thanks
