Cards recd for wife and son; Me and 2nd son still waiting!

Hi folks,

My family and I stamped in San Francisco on 9/6/01 (approved on 8/21 and 8/27). Message changed to "Card ordered on 11/2, 11/6" for me, my wife and my son. But message is same for my other son "485 app recd on Oct 99 (not even updated to case approved)". Then my wife and my son recd their cards last week in the mail. I am left with AVM message "Card ordered on 11/2" and my second son is left with AVM message "485 recd ...".

Anyone recd cards for few family members while other members are still waiting.

I am in the same boat. Me and my wife got our passports stamped in Oct 2001. I got my card a couple of days back and the AVM message for my wife still stays "case has been approved"

What did you do? Did you talk to the INS and did you hear anything worthwhile at all?

No. I haven\'t done anything yet. I guess, wait for couple of more days and then try calling CSC.
 
Green Card not sent at the same time

I\'m on the same situation. My husband and I got our
Passport stamped in Newark last Oct. 24, 2001 and he got
his plastic card last December 15....

I checked the AVM, and the message is still the same \'This case
has been approved..... My card has NOT been ordered yet.

Wife\'s card not recieved,

I got my passport stamped in Philly, PA on 9/28 and recieved
mine and my two kids plastic card on 12/12, they were ordered
on 11/15 but have not revcieved my wife\'s card and her message
has not yet changed to "CARD ORDERED .... " . Does this thing happened to anyone else, please respond.

The middle initials in my kids card are missing, it just has
their first and last name, I need to do for this?

Any help would be appriciated.... Thanks.

I recd card for my younger son and his name is correctly written- he does not have a middle initial, so the issue does not apply.

Hi,

Your wife and I are on the same boat. BTW, we have our passport stamped last October 24, 2001 at Newark and his card has been order on Nov. 21. Last Saturday (Dec 15,2001) we received his card.

I decided to speak to INS officer to verify why my card has NOT been ordered yet while my husband got his card already.
She told me that they just received my documents from the local INS office (Newark) 3 days ago and the card will be sent in 4 to 5 weeks after it has been ordered. However, the AVM did not still changed. Still saying \'this case has been approved....

I received my plastic card just a couple weeks after we enetered. But my husband hasn\'t. I want to check the AVM. What is the telephone number and when should I call and what does it ask for. Could anyone help. It would be very much appreciated. Our POE was sanfrancisco and date of entry was Oct/20/2001.

in one of my kids\' card, the middle initial appears on top of the card and in the bottom, the full expansion appears.. the other kid does not have a middle name...
 
Green card isssue

Green Card for my entire family has been received except for me. We came in on 11/15/2001 and Green cards arrived in less than a month. We came in via North Carolina and Green Card was processed I think in Texas.

Can anyone help me with the phone number I need to call to find out the status of my Green Card. Thanks a lot.

My wife\'s card was pending after I recd mine in the first week of Dec \'01. We both got our passports stamped in Oct \'01.

The latest: My wife recd her plastic card on 1/15/02, almost a month later. The AVM message changed to "card ordered" on 1/11/02.
