I got the passport stamped on 30th of Dec 03.
Cards have been ordered yesterday.

That means all the May01 applicants should also get their cards asap.

Please get the passports stamped asap.
 
two questions please

thank you for your info, even it is little bit ealier for many people here, but i still have two questions:

1) will your A# in your i-485 be your green card number?
2) after i-485 approved, when can you stemp your passport? they will inform you? you make appointment? or just walk-in?

thank you in advance, i just start to dream that day now :p

I just walked into the Atlanta office the very next day and got my passport stamped. No problems.
 
Yes

Getting it stamped is not a problem.
Take your recent AP/ EAD/I94 with you. Also take the passport and the approval notice.

I heard that you need to take ALL your previous EAD and AP and I-94's to do passport stamping, is that true? What if you lost one of the old EADs or I-94 cards?

No, you do not need to take ALL your previous EADs. I don't know about APs. Basically the idea behind USCIS taking your most current and valid EADs/APs is not to have duplicate valid employment authorizations/travel docs floating around, so that they are not used for fradulent reasons. If its expired, it cannot be used anyways. But take all you can with you, you never know and you certainly don't want to mess up your passport stamping.

By the way, I got my cards y'day.
It is not green at all.
