The explanation is simple. My wife was primary applicant and I was derivative!
 
LUD changed again today after a long time

That's great news... atleast someone is doing something on your case. Hope you will get your card soon.
No luck here... same old story. Will wait for another week or so and then call USCIS again... :(

Total GC journey is completed for us. My wife's card too, is been received.

NOTE: If you call 800 number, you are sure to get useless answers, only a lucky few get some decent answer. I was never lucky even once in the last 2 years.
 
Called USCIS after 1 month

Called USCIS today. They transfered me to Immigration Officer. Waited for a while and the she asked the details about my case.. when was it approved? when did you stamped? did u get the welcome letter? After giving her the details she asked the receipt no and asked me to hold. After 10-15mis she said the they( :confused: ) are processing your card now and you will get your card shortly. :rolleyes:
 
Checked online status today (1/31) and found that gc-despo (primary) had an LUD change on 1/26, but message still remains the same. i.e., someone has updated the file but not changed message to "card ordered" I wonder what's going on. This is 2nd LUD change after PP stamping, but with no message change. Derivative received plastic card on 12/30

I think she is right .. I had called them on 01/11 and then LUD changed on 01/24, 01/25, 01/27 to card mailed..
so You should see something happening in around 10 - 12 working days ..because when I called them the lady told me the same thing that I should get my card soon.

If it is possible all of you should go or call the local USCIS office to know your details.

In my case I had called Vermont Service center( 1800-375-LATE) and found it useless since the person answering the phone most of the time only repeats your online message and gives you standard information to wait. The local office will tells your exact details and in case they need additional photos or fingerprints for the plastic card they will do it there itself. They had taken photos (same photos submitted at stamping time) & fingerprints for the plastic card in my case on 25th Jan 2005 again.( They did not inform me anything about my photos & fingerprints taken at stamping time on 11/10/04)
