We have finally completed the journey of Green card. We received our Plastic Cards on Nov 26th. Took less than one month after approval (Not bad).

Thanks to everyone in this forum for sharing valuable information. I wish everyone here a speedy approval.

ns77, I did not get my passport stamped. I was interviewed at the local office, but NOT approved on the same day. However, the officer took our signatures and index finger prints required for the processing of cards. After a few days we got the approval notice, followed by a welcome notice and finally the plastic cards.
