I-90 is in the shredder.. No more dealing with USCIS for a while!! :)

Envelope that it was mailed in has Lincoln, NE Return Address but mailed from: St Albans, VT 05479. No wonder it took so god damn long to get to the West Coast. :)

congratulations to you.

Maybe you should tell this to the guy who says that the backdating provision is either discretionary or has been held invalid per his so-called attorney. :p :p :p

again congratulations. i know how you feel.

Jack,
When did you apply I-90? And did you do it online or by mail? What documents did you include with the application.

Please share. I am about to do an I-90 for my non-backdated card.

Lee,

Lee,
Jackdanie7 didn't send any I-90 but I believe he had it ready just in case which from his post looks like is in the shredder now.
Congrats Jackdanie7, now that you are going to have so much extra time for not worrying about your GC. Start praying for us in that spare time ;) :D

Thnx guys! I will definitely pray for those who are still waiting since I understand your frustration. Especially; the frustration of not knowing! USCIS to me is like a black hole, you're sucked into it and don’t know when they’re going to spit you out. No wonder there are a lot of illegal immigrants since going through the legal process is like having to go through hell.

lee_haircut5, PM is right… I did not send out the I-90. I prepared it when I received the 'card sent out email'. I filled out the form, printed out INA Act: 209 (link below), highlighted section (b) 5 and wrote an explanation referencing to the Act. The only other thing that you probably need is a copy of your GC, and send it to the Los Angeles Lock box address (located on the instruction page). I also put 'Permanent Resident Non Commuter' on Part 2. I believe you can find the definition if search other forums.
