although the Newark, NJ office people said 10 months, the plastic card showed up quickly.

02/12/2001 approval notice date
02/21/2001 passport stamped
03/27/2001 card received

the card is valid from the approval date for a period of 10 years

I found a few docs on INS web site about your question. I found that E26 is a code used for "Adjustments" in EB2 category. E27 is the code used for adjustments done for spouses of E26 people. I don\'t know if you care but E28 is code for children of E26.

Thanks kavorka. It was very helpful. Mine says Category E26 and I am an EB2 adjustment. By the way, where did you get the infomation from? I searched INS website but couldn\'t find anything. Good day!
