congrats.. enjoy the relief..
No email. My Ap is pending more than 120 days in NSC. So checked my case status in uscis website around evening. Surprise to see that I485- card production was orderded on oct 26. But there was no email till today. More over Congress man enquiry revealed that my case is in FBI name check on 10/22/07.

good thing you guys even got your status updated. I got the EAD card in the mail without getting any LUDs or email at all. Its a good thing really but just a little odd that up to now, my status online say "RECEIVED and PENDING" tho i have the card already for more than 2 weeks now.
I hope you will get yours anytime now. This what happen in last 30 days.
I contacted the congress man office 10/12/2007 regarding my case. Got the reply on 10/22/2007 that my case is in FBI Name check. By the way, I didn't write any letter. I called them over the phone and also sent a email. I did the followup on 10/22/2007.
I asked her whether she can help on the FBI name check issue. she informed me that she is going to call FBI to know the status But that's the area where they don't have any control.. She asked me to call again next month. But the same week, on line status changes to card production ordered.

That's the GC approval. I received the welcome approval notice as well as the card. check the status again. You will see another mail with status as approved.
EB-2 Bangladesh with priority date of 08/23/2006
ND for I-140 and I-485 was 10/06/2006.
I had a EB3 I-140 approved also with priority date of 10/01/2004. I requested to port this the priority date. But I don't know if that helped me or not.

When you request to port your EB2 to approved EB3, was your EB-2 also already approved? Coz I have a pending EB-2 and approved EB-3 with same employer.
