Card production ordered!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got the email today at 6:45 pm. I called the information line around 4pm and asked about my RFI response. I called because I submitted the RFI response on the 6th of july and didn't hear anything back. So when I called the lady said that it's not even showing that they sent the RFI. She then transfered me to an Officer. I asked about the RFI and she said that they received it on the 11th of july and that the case is pending. I then asked her about my EAD. She told me to expect in a couple of weeks. I checked my email 2 hours later and it said card production ordered!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think she had something to do with it:D

I think interviews are for the green cards not EADs. The RFI was for tax papers for my wife, but we had a joint sponsor so we didn't need hers.

that what I thought,
Congratulations jandclarke.....
.....and yes talking to the immigration oficers sure does help oou a lot. thats how i got to know my receipt numbers, tough they haven't been mailed yet, and thats how i got to know that They needed some RFI for my I-485....., which i already mailed them last week.. but still haven't received the Notice yet...lol
So its good to cal them they will give u first hand info and even activate u're case if someone else forgot to.:)

Yes I have been job hunting. It's funny because I got an email earlier for an interview. lol no fast food job for me. I have a degree in electrical engineering last september and I haven't been able to work. I graduated with all my friends last year and most of them got jobs. It's been rough just sitting by waiting and praying.
