Card production ordered! Thanks to those who helped me here

after exactly seven years after i applied for my I -485, I finally received the good news in email today . I just wanted to thank those who helped me here specially Mtgirl. my case was just sitting in NSC since 2000 and every time i ask them about my case, they just told me that my background check is pending. around january of 2007 i started a campaign. after i got some help here. i contacted my senator office then i wrote the complaint letter to director of NSC and USCIS @ DHS office in dc and ombudsman and also sent an email to the address that Mtgirl gave me . then on late April i got the letter from my senator office that it said USCIS told them my FBI name check went through. On first week of may USCIS sent me a letter and told me that my case is in normal processing time even it's been pending since June 2000. then on June 5 i got the RAE , i sent all the evidence on June 16 and they received it on June 20 and today i got an email that it says Card production ordered!:D

anyway i thought i should share the way i asked them to help me so maybe others can go the same way.

First my congratulations. I am stuck in name check since 2004, I requested the FOIPA from FBI and came back with no record found, I want to send that to the NSC, which address did you use? also, can you share the letter that you sent to the director? thanks in advance.
 
Congratulations armin78!! I am very happy to hear that you finally got your GC! I am also very happy that I was able to help in anyway I can. I just shared the great info I got on this forum! Everybody is so helpful and I got my GC thanks to the people here, especiallly Don Chinche! 7 years is a long time! I am happy your wait is finally over!!! Go celebrate now!!

on the letter i said that my case is been pending for a long time and it shouldn't take this long. just be nice and professional. good luck
