I received the following update for me & my wife's I-485 petetions from USCIS On-line Case Status Notification site. I received the same email twice (one on 13th and one on 14th). I filed under EB3 and my PD is 10/2001. My case was recently transfered from Vermont to Texas Service Center.
Though most of the posts on this site indicate that this is infact the actual Green Card, I have the following questions. Please share your thoughts or provide your answers to the following questions.
1. I did not receieve any case status update on I-485 petetion approval. Is it possible to get GC prior to obtaining I-485 approval? Shall I expect another email later in the coming week about the I-485 approval?

On July 13, 2007, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you.
