We got this emails today.

For your infomation. Our story is this.


I came to USA on 3/2000 on visitors visa and found employer for H1 Visa. After H1 got approved my family came under H4. Then due to country situation applied for asylum 2/2002. My kids names on USCIS recipt notice was wrong. After informing abot that, they recorrected that and sen their G.Cards within 3 months. Oh. I forgot to tell you, I had no any lawyer for my asylum case and I got approved on my first interwive that in in 5/2002

Me and my wife were waiting for a long time. Finally I sent an emais to TSC, saying our asylum approval dates, kids GC approval dates, and the asking status of our cases.

They replied within 2 hours. asked about our A#. But before we submit our A#s, They sent another email and said they are waiting for security clearance. But within a week they asked us to give Bio 3.

All happen abot 3 weeks ago. Today we got above email.

After I post above posting today morning, I got another email from USCIS just now.

It is follows,

Current Status: Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident.

On December 8, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this
customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any
instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed
within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT
processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If
you move before you get your new card call customer service. You can also
receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow
the link below to register.


My question is

What is ADIT processing?

Please let me know?

You are fine, you will your card as soon as you complete your ADIT.

ADIT refers to biometrics. What the approval notice is stating is that you will get your GC within 60 days or when you complete any ADIT processing that still needs to take place.

Some people are getting their GC approved without an up to date ADIT file. So the application is approved and an ADIT request is made. Once you complete it, they send you the card.

The old I-551 stamp was also refered to as an ADIT stamp, but I don't think that's what they are refering to here.

Need info please

I did approved on 2000, given FP and bio 2005, my wife and son got their GC
I give 2 more bio still have nothing, what should I do
 
We got our cards today.

After three days of the above emails, we got another email on 11th friday

Today the 13th we got our card, welcome leaflet and small paper envilops for our cards.

But our kids are worried. Because they did not receive any paper case like ours.


Our RTD'S are still pending. Our recipt notice dates are June 1st, 2007.

Current processing date at NSC is May 23, 2007.

May be ours will take one more month?

Our Passports expiered long ago. Can we get new passport ? Can it be a problem in future?
