Card not received, need to travel

Hi, Me and my wife have received out 485 approvals, cases approved Sep 29th but the actual card returned due to change in address.

I need to travel on Dec 16. Please advice if I can get a info pass and get a temp I-551 stamped?

My wife has a valid H1, does she needs a stamping as well?

Hi,
Yes, get an Infopass and get BOTH your passports stamped. If you have it bring with you the receipt for returning the Cards or any copies of the application. Some offices make it very difficult for you to get the I-551 stamp. In my case it was very easy, I needed to travel and I needed to return the card due to error. I hope it'll be easy for you too.

Thanks Barbara, I have taken a infopass appointment. Lets see how it goes. I will be going to San Francisco USCIS office. I only have my 485 approvals and a copy of my application. I hope this will be enough along with my passport.

Any one having an experience at the San Francisco office? Is it one of the difficult ones?
