Hi there I am on an H1-B visa an have filed for my gc , my labor was approved in feb 2003. I was told that i cannot add my wife to my current gc process as the date is not current and the officals wont do it. Since a law was passed in dec 2004. IS this true ? Or the other option i was given was retract my case and we both file together.
But some of my other friends have been able to add their wives . Could some one please help me out.
