Cancelling Canadian PR

I recently got my GC and I also have a Canadian PR, but I still havent landed there. I've heard you can only keep one at a time. So do I have to send a letter to the Canadian govt to cancel my PR. Can this be done? Also if I cancel the Canadian PR will I have a problem travelling to Canada, becuase I have the stamp in my passport.

---if you have NOT landed in Canada then write a letter to them that you are not intrested in Landing and request for ROLF back, you will get ROLF back in 2- 3 months. Fax and send letter BEFORE Canada PR visa stamp expire
Can this be done?
Also if I cancel the Canadian PR will I have a problem travelling to Canada,
----no problem US GC holder can visit Canada
becuase I have the stamp in my passport.
