Cancelation of H4 visa after Divorce plz Help

hello,

I was married last year and she got her h4 stamping with in 1 month of our marriage. But she never been to USA until now. she applied for the divorce in india and our divorce has been approved by the Indian court and i already got the divorce papers.

My Questions are

Now i want to cancel her H4 visa. what is the procedure to cancel her H4 visa in India?.

As she was never been to USA my employer told me there is no need to inform here to INS because they will not have the data as she was never been to USA. is it correct?

next month i am planning to go to mexico for my H1 visa extensions.. is there will be any problem to me at the visa office before my ex-wife visa has cancelled ? why i am asking this Question is i want to mention in D-156 form that i was divorced with out any problem for the future H4 visa.

------------ you dont need to do anything.Visa stamping is under DOS as she is no more your spouse her H4 is invalid.

why i am asking this Question is i want to mention in D-156 form that i was divorced with out any problem for the future H4 visa.

*** if you want you can inform the consulate that issued her H4 visa, inform them that XYZ is no more your wife, her name is... dob is... her Indian passport# is...

what is DOS....

I am in the process of informing to the US embassy in India that she is not my wife any more with all the VISA details...
