Cancel Ex-wife Green Card before my current wife GC processing

Hello All,

I do have an critical issue. My priority date was 22 June 2006 and filled I-485 for my Ex-wife and I on Sep 2007. Since my ex-wife is unfit (medically) for marriage life, I applied divorced at US court and obtained the divorce degree on Feb 2009. After getting divorce degree, I asked my attorney to notify to USCIS.

My GC approved last week and received the Green Card. I also noticed that my ex-wife CG approved and Green Card is sent out ( looks like my attorney did not send the divorce degree or USCIS did not review it, not sure what happened).

I married after getting divorce and waited my priority date to current to apply I-485 for my current wife. USCIS received I-485 document for my current wife and It is currently in the initial review (Case Online status). And, scheduled Biometric in first week of June.

My biggest worry is now, what UCCIS will decide on my current wife GC process, since my ex-wife GC is approved?.. Do I need to cancel my ex-wife CG?.. If yes, what would be the process?.. Could some one help me or guide in the right direction..

Million thanks in advance,

Best Regards,
JaiSriRam

Did you submit your divorce decree with the I-485 for your current wife?

What is the basis of your current wife's I-485? Is she a derivative to your employment-based GC process? Did you marry her before your GC was approved?

Thanks for your Quick reply Jackolantern.. And, Yes. I did submit Divorce degree and new Marriage Certificate along with other documents.

Yes.. My ex-and Current wifes are derivative to your employment-based GC process (EB2). I am the Primary applicant.

And I did marry my current wife before my GC approval. Please help me what would be next steps..

Waiting for your early response..
