Cancel citizenship application

My citizenship interview is scheduled for 11/4, which is only 3 weeks away. Due to the circumstances, it will be more convenient for me to continue to hold GC. Can I still write to immigration service center to cancel my application? Can I re-apply in the future?

You can withdraw the application for Citizenship. Your file is with Local USCIS office and send the copy of Interview notice and write a cover letter with your name, A#, N400 receipt#, DOB and address. Write on cover letter that you want to withdraw the application N400 for US citizenship. OR go for Interview and then Inform the officer that you want to withdraw the application and he /she will inform you what to write on the form to withdraw your US citizenship application at this time.

I don't want to be knowsy, but what are the circumstances making you withdrawing the app. Do you think you will be denied? If so do some research. You will be surprised. I did.Laws or your case can be changd in future. Any way good luck.
