Cancel a pending H1 application

Hi,

Does anyone know if it is possible to cancel a pending H1 application? Will this affect later new H1 application? The cancellation can be done by the individual petitioner or has be done by the company which sent out the application? Thanks a lot.

H1 applications are filed by sponsor company and they should be the one to cancel.
