Canadian working in US as a contractor

hello,

im Canadian, i supply consulting services and im incorporated federally.

My client is located in the US, and wants my services for one week.

Im being paid on an hourly rate, in US funds. once the contract is complete, i will send an invoice to the US company with no GST (canadian tax) being charged.

is there anything else i have/should do?

You need to convince the border officer that your work is allowed under B1 business visitor status. (not all consulting work is). If it isn't, you would need to qulaify under another status like TN.
