Canadian w/ TN Visa Marries U.S. Citizen - Now what?

My husband has been in the states for 7 years on a TN Visa (he's here as a systems analyst). We have been married for 1.5 years now and I am a U.S. citizen. However, his work contract may be ending and we are worried if he will be required to go back to Canada.

What should we do to avoid this happening? Form numbers of documents to be filed or at least the first step(s) to be taken would be greatly appreciated.

You've been married for at least 1 TN renewal without filing for his Green Card? My God, you're masochists - not only that, you've delayed his citizenship by 18 months.

Go to the USCIS web site. Download forms I-130, I-485, I-765 and I-131. Fill them out, send them in and get your hubby's Green Card in process.
