Canadian Spouse & K3 visa appln Process

As per my understanding for K3 visa, I would need to file I-130 and I-129F for my canadian citizen spouse with the appropriate service center (VSC) in the US. Can the I-130 and I-129F applications be mailed concurrently to the USCIS?

Would the K3 visa be issued after I-129F approval?

How does this process of k3 visa issuance work ? Is there an interview for K3 visa? Would USCIS mail me K3 visa interview letter here in the US or to my spouse in Canada or the country in which we got married - India ? About the medical & police clearance certificates, when is this to be taken care of? Appreciate your responses.

Can any one suggest the best route to get my wife to the US? Has the DORA Program ended ?

Yup.

Yes. This one of the few areas where Canadian citizens require visas.

USCIS doesn't care where you got married; if your spouse is eligible to live in Canada as either a citizen or a PR, that's where the interview should take place. She needs to pick the closest US consulate.

The K3 is probably the quickest route. DORA is of no use unless your wife already resides in Dallas.

Realcanadian thank you for ur answers.
But as per this this link => http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/types/types_1315.html
It says "Nonimmigrant visa for spouse (K-3) - It is important to note that application for the nonimmigrant visa for spouse (K-3) who married a U.S. citizen must be filed and the visa must be issued in the country where the marriage took place."

Not sure how the k4 process will go for the minor child ? hope they give a k4 visa without an interview?

This was one of the reasons we were contemplating IR-1 process for my wife.

While I'm not 100% certain of this, what they're trying to say is that the K-3 needs to be petitioned for outside of the US. 99% of these marriages take place in the country where the alien spouse resides, so they describe that scenario.

I'd double-check the relevant section of the INA to be sure, but I highly doubt there's any statutory restriction on where the petition must be filed from, or what consulate the interview takes place in.
