In order to obtain canadian citizenship one must have physical presence of 3 years as PR in Canada. There are few exceptions to this rule. One is to be employed aborad by a Canadian business.
My question is if someone (canadian PR) opens a consulting firm in Canada and then become employed by a foreign employer as a full time employee/consultant through his company, will he be able to count his time aborad as physical presence in Canada to fulfill citizenship requirement?
Thanks.
