Canadian citizen and interagency clearance

Please guide me: I want to know if a Canadian Citizen needs a student visa for Graduate study in United States and has to go through Interagency clearance.
In my case, i have been offered admission for Postgraduate studies in one of the Universities in US (with complete tution waiver and award of Teaching Assistantship). Where do I need to apply and what is the procedure.

--You do not need the student visa if you are cdn. All you need is a I-20 and your cdn passport.
