Canada PR with US GC application ?

I am on H1 for 6 years now and have my GC application filed since the past 3+ years and it is still in labor. With no signs of movement on the labor certification, I was thinking of applying for Canadian PR in the hope of changing my job down the lane for better prospects.

Question: Canadian PR application requires finger printing including submission of original experience letters, etc.
1. Can applying for fingerprinting for Canada PR application affect in any way the GC application for US (assuming that my labor and subsequent I-140 get approved and I file for I-485 down the lane) ? To be specific, can there be a situation where the immigration office in US make the Canadian PR application an issue and not approve my GC ?
2. Are there any side effects of applying for Canadian PR while still awaiting US GC ?
3. Would US GC application require original docs - experience letters, or are photocopies/notarized photocopies sufficient ? This is because I only have one set of originals for my experience letters and if I submit them for canada PR, would that be a good idea ?

There is no issue with either of your points. You can proceed.

Do not submit yours original docs. Only send notarized photocopies sufficient

Thanks singh244 and Sh_Ad for your inputs. One more question... Have you or anybody you know applied for Canada PR while still awaiting GC for US ? I mean ... somebody in a situation similar to mine ? I'd like to ask more questions regarding the canadian PR.
